GENERAL CONDUCT
- Follow all posted signage and staff guidance.
- Treat visitors, staff, and park property with respect.
- Management may address situations impacting safety or visitor enjoyment.
- Parents/guardians must supervise minors.
- Remain aware of surroundings and use good judgment.
PARK HOURS & ACCESS
- The park is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Office Hours – Winter & Summer:
- Monday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Office Hours – Spring & Fall:
- Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Gates remain open unless closure is required due to severe weather or hazardous conditions.
FEES & CHECK-IN
Pricing is per vehicle, regardless of occupancy.
- Cars:
- Admission: $8
- Camping: $19
- Annual Pass: $45
- Passenger Vans:
- Admission: $16
- Camping: $26
- Annual Pass: $55
- Buses:
- Admission: $21
- Camping: $36
- Annual Pass: $60
- Guests must check in at the park office upon arrival.
- Parking passes must be clearly visible on all vehicles.
CAMPING RULES
- Camping allowed only in designated campsites.
- No camping on or under rock formations.
- No fires on or under rock formations.
- Maximum occupancy: four (4) tents per site.
- Campsites for registered guests only.
- Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
- Do not damage trees or rock features.
- Campsites must be clean and free of litter.
- Use park trash cans or pavilion dumpsters.
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Guests may remain in the park after checkout.
- Reserved campsite must be cleared by 11:00 AM
FIRES & COOKING
- Fires allowed only in designated fire rings.
- Follow all active fire bans.
- Fully extinguish fires before leaving.
- Do not burn trash or treated wood.
- Firewood collection prohibited.
- Cutting or damaging trees for firewood is prohibited.
- Logs defining campsites may not be burned.
- Burning campsite logs will result in a replacement fee.
ROCK CLIMBING & BOULDERING
- Climbing involves inherent risks.
- All climbing is done at the participant's own risk.
- Climbers are responsible for assessing their own ability.
- Use proper safety equipment.
- Inspect personal gear before use.
- Park is not responsible for the actions of other climbers.
- Guests are financially responsible for emergency medical care.
- Participation releases Cherokee Rock Village from liability.
- Commercial guides/instructors must obtain a commercial use permit.
- Minors must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
PETS
- Pets must be on a leash at all times.
- Owners must clean up after pets.
- Pets may not be left unattended.
- Aggressive animals may be removed from the park.
VEHICLES & PARKING
- Park only in designated areas.
- Observe posted speed limits.
- Off-road driving prohibited.
- No vehicle repairs or washing on park property.
LIABILITY
- Visitors enter the park at their own risk.
- Cherokee Rock Village and Cherokee County are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost property.
- Natural hazards exist including uneven terrain, falling rocks, and wildlife.
