CRV is best known for its beautiful primitive camping sites and for its striking sandstone rock formations which offer easy access to rock climbing, hiking, photography, and exploration. Visitors can also enjoy picnicking, scenic overlooks, and quiet forested areas that make Cherokee Rock Village a destination for both adventure and relaxation.

We offer more than 100 primitive campsites for both tent and RV camping. Our RV sites can accommodate vehicles up to 40 feet in length.

Each campsite includes a fire pit for safe campfires and nearby picnic tables perfect for meals and gatherings.

Camping Advice for Cherokee Rock Village Visitors
Weather at CRV can change quickly, so layered clothing is recommended. Potable water is available in the park, and the camp store offers ice, firewood, camping essentials, and select rock climbing gear.
A centrally located, climate-controlled bathhouse with showers is available for campers. Please use designated fire rings, keep campsites clean, review posted park rules, and observe quiet hours so everyone can enjoy a peaceful experience.
